Chennai: Great Lakes Institute of Management hosted its 19th convocation for its post graduate programmed at Anna Centenary Library on Thursday.
Around 600 students who graduated on Thursday were awarded cash prizes and gold medals.
This event witnessed the participation of the Board of Directors, Academic Committee, esteemed staff, and accomplished students of the Great Lakes Institute of Management. The convocation was presided by Dr Suresh Ramanathan, dean & principal of Great Lakes Institute of Management. Chief guest and founder of Cyient, B V R Mohan Reddy, said new job opportunities around the world are created by small and medium-sized businesses, including startups. “These students are equipped with skills to identify real-world problems, solve them, and create opportunities,” he said.
