Aamir Khan, Naga Chaitanya host Lal Singh Chaddha at the screening for Nagarjuna, SS Rajamouli, Chiranjeevi

Aamir Khan’s much-awaited film ‘Lal Singh Chaddha’ is all set for a theatrical release on August 11. Directed by Advait Chandan, who has previously worked with Aamir Khan as an assistant production manager in Taare Zameen Par, the film is at the helm. Actor’s comeback film. Laal Singh Chaddha is the Hindi remake of the Academy Award winning 1994 American film Forrest Gump. Lal Singh Chaddha will depict several decades in the life of a slow-witted and kind-hearted man who witnesses and unwittingly influences many of the defining historical events in 20th century India.

Apart from Aamir and Chaitanya, the film also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan and Mona Singh in the lead role. Produced by Aamir Khan Productions and Viacom18 Studios, the film’s music is composed by Pritam. The trailer of the film, which was launched on 29 May in the finale of the 2022 Indian Premier League, became popular among fans and critics alike.

Aamir Khan was last seen in Thugs of Hindostan. Produced by Aditya Chopra, the film received negative reviews from critics and audiences.
