Andhra Pradesh CM Jagan Mohan Reddy expressed condolences to the victims of Darshi accident

Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has expressed grief over the loss of lives in a road accident near Darshi in Prakasam district. He expressed deep condolences to the bereaved families.

Mr Jagan on July 11 asked the authorities to provide better medical facilities to those injured. He also wanted the officers to stand by the bereaved families. The Chief Minister was also apprised of the rescue and relief operations by the concerned authorities.

Seven people were killed in a road accident when the bus they were traveling in fell into the NCP canal while the bus driver tried to avoid hitting a vehicle coming in the opposite direction. There was a procession in the bus which was going from Podili to Kakinada. Around 18 other people on the bus were injured.
