New Delhi: A man has been arrested for allegedly killing a lawyer in south-west Delhi’s Dwarka area. property disputepolice said on Saturday.

Police said that on April 1, advocate Virendra Kumar (35) was shot dead by two bike-borne assailants in Dwarka Sector-1.
During the investigation, the involvement of Pradeep and Naresh in the murder came to the fore. A senior police officer said that a dispute was going on between the two and the advocate.
The police found that Pradeep was using a car bought some time ago and was constantly changing his location. The officer said that he used to sleep in his vehicle and mostly took the route of small villages away from the highways.
Police said they spotted Pradeep’s car at a toll in Haryana’s Murthal area and later arrested him from Bhalgarh in Sonepat on Friday.
He said that the weapon used in the crime has also been recovered from his possession.
Pradeep’s co-accused Naresh is absconding and efforts are on to nab him, he said.
According to the police, a resident of Narela used to wrestle with Pradeep. Guru Hanuman Akhara, Roshanara Road and steal cars.
The family of the accused had a property dispute with the advocate. Police said that in 2015, Kumar had filed a petition in the court due to which he was not getting the compensation.
Police said Pradeep along with his accomplices tried to eliminate Kumar in 2017, for which a case was registered at Prashant Vihar police station.
