The Reserve Bank of India has informed in its annual report that 91,110 fake notes of Rs 500 have been found in the financial year 2022-23. Of the total counterfeit currency notes found during this period, 4.6% were found in the Reserve Bank, while 95.4% were found in the rest of the banks. RBI found 78,699 fake notes of Rs 100, while 27,258 fake notes of Rs 200. RBI has received 9,806 fake notes of Rs 2000 in the financial year 2022-23.

Mother-daughter dead body found in Delhi’s Krishna Nagar house, was rotting for several days

The bodies of a 64-year-old woman and her 30-year-old daughter have been found in a house in Delhi’s Krishna Nagar area. According to the police, injury marks have been found on the bodies of both, from which it is being speculated that both have been murdered. The woman has been identified as Rajrani Lal. She was a retired officer of All India Radio. The daughter’s name was Ginni Karad.

The woman’s neighbor called PCR at 8 pm on Wednesday and told about the stench coming from the flat. After getting the information, the police reached the spot. The dead bodies of both were rotten. The police have registered a case and are investigating.
