India has decided to appoint defense ambassadors in more than 20 countries to increase its defense exports. These military officers will be posted in countries that have shown interest in acquiring India’s military equipment. According to government sources, the way of defense exports will be facilitated through these special military envoys.

Defense envoys are being appointed on the lines of developed countries like America, Britain and France. Tell that the country’s defense exports have done 16 thousand crore rupees in 2022-23. This is 10 times more than in 2016-17.
