The film earned an estimated Rs 3.25 crore on Day 9, thus taking its collection to an estimated Rs 56.50 crore.
According to boxofficeindia.com, all eyes will now be on Saturday’s collections to see if the film succeeds at the box office or not.
The film enjoyed a growth of 30% in the collections from Thursday’s numbers. If the film maintains its hold at the box office on Saturday, it could set itself up for a net weekend of Rs 20 crore.
‘Bhola’ opened with a collection of Rs 10.25 crore at the box office. The film earned an estimated Rs 53.40 crore by the end of the first week.
The good word of mouth that the film received resulted in huge footfalls in some parts of the country.
Bhola, directed by Ajay Devgan, is a remake of the 2019 Tamil film Kaithi. The film stars Devgan in the lead role along with Tabu, Deepak Dobriyal, Sanjay Mishra, Gajraj Rao and Vineet Kumar.
The film follows an ex-convict who battles criminals while taking a truckload of poisoned policemen to a hospital in exchange for meeting his daughter after ten years in prison.
It remains to be seen whether ‘Bhola’ can beat the Rs 85 crore collection earned by 2016 film ‘Shivaay’, which was also directed by Ajay Devgn.
