Congress tweets video of Nadda’s remarks in Karnataka, accuses him of ‘intimidating’ voters

The Congress on Wednesday tweeted a video clip of BJP chief JP Nadda’s remarks in Karnataka, accusing him of “intimidating” voters and terming his comments as a “blatant attack on democracy”.

Congress general secretary Jairam Ramesh tweeted a video clip of Nadda addressing an election gathering in Karnataka, to attack the BJP. , ye chunav ka mudda hai. development continues to flow in Karnataka. Tagging the clip, Ramesh said in a tweet in Hindi, “There should be a limit to devotion too, Nadda ji. Why are you threatening and intimidating the people of Karnataka?” Ramesh said that the Congress government is going to be formed with the blessings of the people of Karnataka.

The Congress also tweeted a part of the clip from its official Twitter handle to target the BJP.

In a tweet, the Congress said, “BJP President JP Nadda has threatened to take away constitutional rights from the people of Karnataka if they do not vote out the corrupt 40% BJP government.”

“This is a big attack on democracy and shows how BJP plans to treat Kannadigas,” the party alleged.

The Congress said, “We are not subjects of a king, but citizens of a federal country governed by a constitution.”
