Coimbatore: The municipal corporation has doubled the amount of water withdrawn from the Siruvani reservoir following a rise in the water level.

We extracted 38 MLD on Thursday, 42.22 MLD on Friday, 55 MLD on Saturday, 64 MLD on Sunday and 68.77 MLD on Monday. We will soon be able to go back to the once-a-week schedule, the official said.
