D-Mart’s Q4 net profit up 7.8% at Rs 460.1 crore, revenue up 20.5% at Rs 10,594 crore – Times of India

New Delhi: Avenue Supermarts Ltd., which owns and operates retail chain D-Mart, on Saturday reported a 7.81 per cent rise in its consolidated net profit at Rs 460.10 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2023.
Avenue Supermarts in a BSE filing said the company had posted a net profit of Rs 426.75 crore in the January-March quarter a year ago.
Its revenue from operations grew by 20.57 per cent to Rs 10,594.11 crore during the quarter under review, as against Rs 8,786.45 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.
Avenue Supermarts’ total expenses increased by 21.82 per cent to Rs 10,002.21 crore in Q4FY23 as against Rs 8,210.13 crore in the same quarter.
Avenue Supermarts’ total income rose 20.5 per cent to Rs 10,627.18 crore in the March quarter.
For the financial year ending March 2023, Avenue Supermarts’ net profit was up 59.36 per cent to Rs 2,378.34 crore. It had reported a net profit of Rs 1,492.40 crore in the last financial year.
Its consolidated revenue from operations in FY23 was Rs 42,839.56 crore, up 38.3 per cent over the previous fiscal.
The total number of D-Mart stores as of March 31, 2023 was 324.
