Shahrukh Khan’s Jawan has been postponed. The makers are reportedly eyeing an August release.

After the immense success of Pathan, Shahrukh Khan All set for his second release of 2023 – Jawan. Helmed by Atlee, the film also stars Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in pivotal roles. While the film was all set to release on June 2, buzz is that the release date has been pushed to a later date.

According to a report in Pinkvilla, the new release date of the film will be announced soon. A source close to the production team shared, “Jawan is no longer releasing on June 2, 2023. The team needs some more time to perfect the visual effects of the film and they will instead come up with a product that competes with the best. country than a lousy one. Reportedly, the VFX team has been working extensively for the past few months but the process is taking a long time.

The source further added that the team has reduced several release dates but they have to be in line with the VFX work and guidelines. Along with Red Chillies, the much-awaited action-entertainer has a number of global companies working for VFX. “The team is considering multiple dates but they need to be in sync with the VFX guidelines. The dates currently being considered are June 29 and all four weeks of August. In all likelihood, Jawan will now release in August as Shah Rukh Khan and team now want to give enough time to VFX. Intensive discussions are being held on 11th August and 25th August by all the stakeholders at Red Chillies.

Apart from Jawan, Shah Rukh Khan also has Rajkumar Hirani’s Danki. He will be seen sharing screen space with Taapsee Pannu. The actor’s last film Pathan was a blockbuster of over 1000 crores at the ticket window globally. also acted in the film Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in the lead roles.
