Fantastic teaser trailer of ‘The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power’ promises an epic journey to Middle-earth – Times of India

Get ready for a wonderful journey to Middle-earth. The much-awaited second teaser trailer of ‘The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power’ came online on Thursday evening.

The new 2.30-minute clip delves even deeper into this ambitious narration of JRR Tolkien’s fictional Second Age of Middle-Earth. After releasing a series of posters and brief introductions of some of Tolkien’s famous characters from the island kingdom of Newmenor, the teaser gives us a glimpse of new characters – Isildur (Maxim Baldry), Elendil (Lloyd Owen), Pharazon (Tristan Gravell), and Queen Regent Miriel (Cynthia Addai-Robinson).

Recently announced additional Numenoreans are Caymen (Leon Wadham) and Ariane (Emma Horvath).

The teaser trailer also highlights some of the locations that viewers will visit during the eight-part series, including the Elven Regions of Linden and the Eregion, the Dwarf Regions Khazad-Dum, the Southlands, Northernmost Waste, Sundering Seas and The island kingdom of Numenor.

Also main cast are Galadriel (Morphid Clark), Elrond (Robert Aramayo), High King Gil-Gallad (Benjamin Walker), Harfoot’s Marigold Brandyfoot (Sarah Zwangobani), Eleanor ‘Nori’ Brandyfoot (Markella Kevenagh), Poppy Proudfellow (Megan Richards) and Sadok Burroughs (Sir Lenny Henry), The Stranger (Daniel Wayman), Dwarf King Durin III (Peter Mulan) and Prince Durin IV (Owen Arthur), Halbrand (Charlie Vickers), and Arondir (Ismael Cruz Cordova).

The multi-season drama will launch on Amazon Prime Video worldwide on Friday, September 2, with new episodes available weekly.
