Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal has gone on a tour of Delhi amidst the flood situation caused by the rains. It is being told that the Chief Minister will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the evening. Along with this, he will give information about the flood situation caused by the rains in the state. There is also a possibility that the Chief Minister may also demand assistance from the Center for the loss caused in the state.

According to the Chief Minister’s Office, information has also come to the fore that the latest situation in Haryana is being monitored at the central level as well.

BJP’s small group will attend the meeting in Gurugram
Before leaving for Delhi, Chief Minister Manohar Lal will attend a small group meeting to be held in Gurugram. Haryana BJP state president Om Prakash Dhankhar, party in-charge Biplab Deb and organization minister Ravindra Raju along with all the three general secretaries of the state will be present in this meeting.

Water filled in 600 villages
Incessant rains have created a flood-like situation in Haryana. Most of the devastation is happening in the GT road belt of the state. Along with the cities, 600 villages here have been submerged. Home Minister Anil Vij’s home district Ambala has sunk up to 40%. 7 National Highways of the state have been submerged. The state’s contact with Delhi, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh has been completely severed.

CM has done emergency meeting
The CM of Haryana has held an emergency meeting regarding the rain situation. After the meeting, an advisory has been issued to the general public in view of the heavy rains from the government side. It has been said by the government that if it is not necessary, at least people should come out of the house. NDRF-SDRF have been called to deal with any kind of situation. If people are trapped in the low-lying areas of the state, efforts are being made to evacuate them.

The government has made proper arrangements for food and drink for the people affected by the rains. People can contact flood helpline number 1070, 1077, 112, 0172-2545938 for any kind of problem. By video conferencing with all the DCs of the districts, the CM has taken information about the situation arising due to the rains. The CM has given instructions that the common citizen should not be allowed to face any kind of problem. Along with this, the administration should ensure the evacuation of the people trapped in the low-lying areas and the provision of food and drink.

CM canceled all programs
Chief Minister Manohar Lal has canceled all his pre-scheduled programs. Also called an emergency meeting at the Haryana Civil Secretariat and discussed with the officials. Necessary guidelines were given in the meeting on the situation arising due to rains in the entire state. Officials from the Ministry of Revenue and Disaster Management, Home Department, Urban Local Body and Rural Development participated in the meeting.

Chief Minister Manohar Lal has spoken to Himachal CM Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu. In Himachal, some people from Haryana were reported to be stranded in Manali. The CM told that all the citizens of Haryana are safe. The Haryana government is monitoring the situation along with the Himachal government.
