According to International Data Corporation, the share of smartwatches increased to 41.4 percent from 26.8 percent a year ago, and the earwear category also saw a strong growth of 48.5 percent.

Imagine Marketing (boAt) retained the top position with 25.6 per cent share, with a growth of 102.4 per cent.

The FireBolt ranked second in the overall wearables category with a 12.4 percent share in the first quarter. It grew at 224.2 percent with a 28.6 percent share in the smartwatch category.

Nexxbase (Noise) ranked third in overall wearables, growing 97.3 percent YoY and 11.9 percent market share. Noise moved into second place with a 21.6 percent share in the smartwatch category, growing 157.6 percent year over year.

The online channel continued to dominate with a share of 73.9 percent of the overall wearables market.

Vikas Sharma, Senior Market Analyst, Wearable Devices, IDC, said, “Enhanced audio quality through ANC/ENC and aesthetically pleasing design will be key differentiators in 2023. It is necessary to grow beyond audio capabilities by including health-tracking technology Will happen.” India.

Smartwatches (including basic and advanced) continue to be the fastest growing wearable category with 10.4 million shipments, a growth of 178.9 percent.

Boult Audio posted a healthy growth of 366.5 percent and a 9.3 percent market share in the first quarter at the fourth spot. Oppo (includes OnePlus) stood at the fifth spot with 4.7 per cent share.
