Instagram is introducing a new feature that enables users to add up to five links to their profile bios, similar to the link-in-bio solution offered by the platform link tree, This would allow users to direct their followers to external content, such as their online businesses, brands promoted, causes they support, or profiles on other social media platforms.

Instagram allows users to add links to their Instagram profiles by accessing the “Edit Profile” button above their photo grid. Although previously users could only add a single link, they can now add multiple links as Instagram prompts them to do so.
If you add more than one link, Instagram will truncate the first one and indicate how many more links are available. Tapping the first link brings up a selection screen from which the user can view all the links at once. So, if your Instagram profile has multiple links, visitors will have to click on a message that says “[first link] and 1 other” to see a full list of links.
Instagram has said that the ability to add multiple links to a profile will be available across all account types, including business and creator accounts.
