Foreign Minister S Jaishankar has advised Rahul Gandhi to raise questions on foreign policy. Jaishankar said on Sunday- I wanted to take a class on China from Rahul Gandhi, but later I came to know that he himself was taking a class on China from the Chinese ambassador.

Jaishankar further said – It is unfortunate that foreign policy has become an arena. I know everything is political in politics, but on some issues we should behave in such a way that India’s position abroad is not weakened.

In a program in Karnataka, when Jaishankar was asked that Rahul Gandhi says that you do not understand the threat from China, what would you say on this. On this, Jaishankar said that earlier I wanted to take a class from Rahul Gandhi on the issue of China, but later it came to know that Rahul Gandhi was taking a class on China from the Chinese Ambassador. After this I asked myself if I can also go to the main source and talk to him.

Jaishankar said that unfortunately foreign policy has become an arena. I am also a leader and I know that everything is political in politics, but on some issues we should behave responsibly, so that our position in foreign countries is not weakened.

In response to this question, Jaishankar said – Wrong information has also been spread on the issue of building a bridge by China in Pangong. He told that the Chinese first came in 1959. They captured the region in 1962, but it was presented in such a different way. The same happened in the case of some model villages. These villages were built in areas that we lost in 62 or even before 62.

The Foreign Minister said whose fault is it that what happened in 1962, I never talked about it. It was our collective failure. It does not consider it necessary to give political color to it. Both the countries really need to talk on these issues.

Rahul had said – Foreign Minister should increase his understanding
Rahul Gandhi often questions the government on the issue of China. During the Bharat Jodo Yatra, he advised Foreign Minister Jaishankar to broaden his thinking and understanding on the issue of China. The Congress leader had said that China is preparing for war. The government is ignoring this issue and trying to hide information related to it.
