Ranchi: Jharkhand Mukti Morcha and Congress are reluctant to approach other regional parties of the state in the newly formed Indian National Development Inclusive Alliance (INDIA).
However, smaller regional parties such as the Jharkhand Party, the Adivasi Sengel Abhiyan and others are pinning their hopes on the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) led by India and the BJP for their fortunes in next year’s Lok Sabha and state assembly elections.
Jharkhand party president Enos Ekka said, “We are only concerned about the development of Jharkhand and the welfare of its people. But we have not been able to decide which camp to join. Next month, the central executive meeting of our party will be held.” I will take a decision on it.” Said. Ekka, however, admitted that the JMM, Congress or the rival NDA camp had not approached him to join their respective national-level alliances.
The tribal Sengel campaign led by Salkhan Murmu, however, has hopes from the BJP. “We want the Sarna code to be notified before next year’s elections and only those who are currently in power can do that,” Murmu said.
