Popular actor Kamal Haasan has recently been in news for calling The Kerala Story a ‘propaganda film’. The veteran actor questioned whether what was shown in the film was true or not, which triggered a debate on social media. Now, Kamal Haasan is in the news again but for a different reason, the actor is rumored to have been offered Rs 150 crore to play the villain in Prabhas and Deepika Padukone Starr Project K.
Kamal Haasan hasn’t reacted to the news, but social media is doing the rounds that he has been approached to play a pivotal role in the film, which also stars the lead actors. Amitabh Bachchan, However, a report in Hindustan Times claimed that the rumors are baseless. As per reports, Kamal Haasan has been approached by the makers of the project, but he is yet to sign on the dotted line. Also, there is no truth to the reports claiming ₹150 crore remuneration.
Directed by Nag Ashwin, the project is a science fiction film shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi. there are stars in it Disha Patani, It will hit the screens on 12 January 2024.

Meanwhile, Kamal Haasan is currently busy shooting for Shankar’s Indian 2. Rakul Preet Singh is also in the film. The actress revealed that Haasan “is playing a 90-year-old man in this film. The prosthetics take four to five hours. He reaches at 5 in the morning so that he is on the set by 10 in the morning.”
At the recently held IIFA Awards, Kamal Haasan received a standing ovation when he was awarded for Outstanding Achievement in Indian Cinema. Singer and composer AR Rahman presented the award to Kamal, which was appreciated by all present.
