Kapil Sharma and Aamir Khan recently met during the launch event of Carry On Jatta 3.
On Wednesday, Kapil Sharma took to his Instagram handle and posted several pictures in which he was seen posing with Aamir. In one picture, Kapil is seen hugging the Bollywood superstar. In another click, the two were also joined by Kapil’s wife Ginni.
In the caption of his post, Kapil penned a heart-warming note and called Aamir ‘our pride’. “Thank you for the wonderful evening, the wonderful hospitality, the love, the laughter, the music, what a beautiful and memorable meeting it was, thank you Aamir Khan bhai, you are our pride,” he wrote.
Meanwhile, during the Carry On Jatta 3 launch event, Kapil teased the superstar for not inviting him on his show. “I am working less and spending time with my family, so every evening I enjoy watching something that has comedy in it. I watch something or the other every night before sleeping and for the past few months I have been watching Kapil’s show. I have become such a big fan of his. You should have noticed that I had the biggest smile on my face when he came on stage.”
“How many evenings she has colored, I am very happy. I called him a few weeks ago and said, ‘Thank you so much, you entertain people so much, it’s such a great job, making people happy.’ So I am very happy to see you here and Kapil, I am your biggest fan.”
Meanwhile, reports claiming that The Kapil Sharma Show will soon go off air have been making headlines for a long time. While nothing has been announced officially yet, a new report in Pinkvilla has recently claimed that the comedian is likely to shoot the last episode of his show in mid-June. Reportedly, Kapil is going on a US tour with his team and his show will go off air. However, The Kapil Sharma Show may return with a new season in October or November this year.
