In two selfies shared on Instagram Stories, she is seen cuddling up with a purple animal. The first time she looks directly at the camera, her expression is serious. In another, she is partially hidden by a stuffed animal.
The singer took to Instagram on July 10 for the first time since being hospitalized, thanking her followers for their “positive energy, prayers and words of healing and encouragement”.
“I have felt your love. I am on my way.” recovery And incredibly grateful for all the blessings in my life,” she wrote. “When I woke up in the hospital my first thought was my kids. My second thought was that I didn’t want to disappoint anyone who bought tickets for my tour. I also didn’t want to disappoint the people who worked tirelessly with me over the past few months to make my show happen. I hate to let anyone down.”
She added, “My focus is now on getting back in my health and getting stronger and I assure you, I will be back with you as soon as possible! The current plan is to reschedule the North American leg of the tour and start in Europe in October. I couldn’t be more grateful for your care and support. Love, M.”
Live Nation announced in a press release that day, the first leg of The Celebration Tour in North America is regrettably postponed. We will let you know as soon as we have new dates. Fans are urged to keep their tickets as they will remain valid even after the new dates are revealed.
“The tour is currently scheduled to begin in Europe in October,” the company added.
