Man killed by wife and her lover; both held | Rajkot News – Times of India

Rajkot: A woman and her lover were arrested on Monday for allegedly killing her ex-husband at Virdi village in Maliya Hatiana taluka of Junagadh district.
sudha Parmar (34) and his accomplice Bharat Wadhia (38) were arrested for the murder of Sudha’s husband Bhavesh Parmar (40).
Police had initially registered a case of accidental death after Bhavesh’s body was found under a bridge in Virdi village on July 6. It was believed that Bhavesh must have fallen from the bridge while riding a motorcycle.
After Bhavesh’s body was found, Sudha told the police that her husband had not returned home the previous night.
The postmortem report said that Parmar had not died Accident But he was murdered and then thrown off the bridge.
Investigation of the case revealed that Sudha had an affair with Bharath for more than a year. The police also found intimate pictures of Sudha from her phone. On questioning, Sudha confesses that she and Bharat killed her husband. He and Bhavesh were fighting over their unemployment,” police said.
Ravi Teja Junagadh Superintendent of Police Vasamsetty told media persons: “The victim (Bhavesh) was murdered using an axe, cricket bat and any other blunt object. The accused then took the body to the outskirts of the village and dumped it on the bridge along with the victim’s motorcycle. To show that the death was an accident, they also threw the victim’s belongings like mobile phone, cap, spectacles and handkerchief near the body.
BK Chavda, the investigating officer of the case, said, “It was a pre-planned murder carried out by Bharat and Sudha on the night of 6 July. Bharat wanted to put the dead body somewhere far away. So he put the victim’s body on the bike with her head on the handle and started driving. But he could not drive far so he decided to dump the body on a bridge just 800 meters away from the victim’s house. According to the police, Bhavesh and Sudha, belonging to different castes, had married in 2011. He has an 11 year old son. Bhavesh worked as a real estate agent and also did farming.
