New Delhi: Two brothers arrested and a juvenile arrested for stabbing a man named Jitendra to death in outer delhi‘S Mangolpuri Police area on Sunday.
The accused have been identified as Jat in He told that (20) and Mohit (19) told that the incident happened in the early hours.
Police said a scuffle broke out between the victim Jitendra (28) and four others after which they stabbed him.
He told that at around six in the morning, information was received from a hospital about the admission of a person injured by a knife.
During interrogation, it was learned that a reception was organized for Jitendra’s brother in a temple. The Deputy Commissioner of Police (Outer) said that while drinking with his friends in a nearby street, one of the accused refused to bring gutkha and the victim slapped him. Harendra K Singh Said.
Angered by this, the accused stabbed the victim’s thigh.
Jitendra was taken to Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital for treatment. The DCP said that he was further referred to a private hospital, where he died due to excessive bleeding.
He said experts from the forensic science laboratory and crime team inspected the crime scene and a case was registered.
Police said that after going through several CCTV footages, it was found that there was a scuffle between Jitender and the four accused, which led to his murder.
DCP Singh said that after identifying all the accused persons, several teams were formed and three persons were arrested and a 17-year-old boy was caught.
He said efforts are on to nab the fourth accused.
