According to the Weibo post, the Moto X40 China launch The program will start at 7:30 pm local time today. The event will be streamed live on Weibo. The company is expected to reveal the pricing and availability details at the event.

The Weibo post also provides the first official look of the upcoming smartphone and the design of the phone aligns with the previous renders that were leaked online. The back panel of the Moto X40 will include a rectangular camera island that will house the triple rear camera setup and a circular LED flash unit. The handset will have curved edges and display with a punch-hole front camera setup. The teaser has also revealed that the device may come in two different color variants – Blue and Black.
Moto X40: Expected Specifications
The Moto X40 is likely to feature a 6.67-inch OLED display that will support Full HD+ resolution, HDR10+, and 165Hz refresh rate. The smartphone will be powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile platform and will be supported with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage.

For photography, the Moto X40 will feature a triple rear camera setup that could include a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 12MP telephoto unit with 2x optical zoom.
The smartphone could offer two battery variants – 5,000mAh battery pack with 68W fast charging and 4,600mAh battery unit with 120W fast charging. For connectivity, the smartphone may come equipped with NFC, dual-band 5G, Bluetooth 5.3, USB Type C, and a twin speaker setup.
The Moto X40 has been confirmed to run MyUI 5.0 custom skin based on Android 13 operating system.
