San Francisco:
Netflix said on Wednesday that subscriptions to the streaming television service have grown to more than 238 million in the wake of cracking down on password sharing.
According to the earnings release, Netflix ended the recently concluded quarter with an additional 5.9 million subscribers and a profit of $1.5 billion.
“We’re seeing a healthy conversion of indebted households to full-paid Netflix memberships while also taking advantage of our additional member benefits,” Netflix said in a letter to shareholders.
