The central districts recorded nine more cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday. According to a bulletin issued by the Department of Health and Family Welfare, four patients in Tiruchi district and three in Tiruvarur have tested positive for the virus. Karur registered two cases. There were no cases in Ariyalur, Mayiladuthurai, Nagapattinam, Perambalur, Pudukottai and Thanjavur districts.
