Tipster TechDoctorz has shared some hands-on images of the upcoming Nothing phone (2) on Twitter. As per the leaked information, which has also been confirmed by the company, the upcoming smartphone will feature a 6.7-inch full-HD+ display and will be powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. The smartphone will have a 4700mAh battery.
The leak also reveals that the upcoming Nothing phone (2) is expected to pack 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. The smartphone will run on Android 13 operating system with the company’s brand new NothingOS 2.0. The smartphone is also expected to come equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor and an aluminum frame design. The smartphone also features stereo speakers for better sound experience.
The images shared in the leak reveal the dual rear camera setup of the Nothing phone (2). The smartphone is expected to feature a 50MP main sensor and a 50MP secondary ultra-wide angle lens. There is said to be a 32MP selfie shooter at the front.
What does the LED on the nothing phone (2) indicate?
Like the Nothing Phone (1), the Phone (2) will also sport a glyph inspired design. Recently, YouTuber Marques Brownless posted a video online revealing more details about the LED of the Nothing phone (2).
The Nothing Phone (2) includes several LED indicators for various functions. First, it features a volume indicator LED that lights up when the volume is adjusted. Additionally, there is a timer LED located on the back of the phone that is synchronized with the timer. Also, an LED at the back displays your progress in Uber and Zomato. The phone also allows setup of app notification LEDs, which light up when you receive notifications from specific applications. Finally, when a wired charger is connected, the lower LEDs illuminate to indicate the progress of the charging process.
Nothing Phone (2) launch details
As mentioned above, the Nothing Phone (2) will be launching in India today. The company has scheduled a launch event at 8.30 pm where it will unveil the new flagship smartphone. The event will also be streamed live on the official social media channels of Nothing.
