The city police on Wednesday arrested a 43-year-old man for allegedly assaulting two doctors at the Government Medical College Hospital (MCH) here. The accused, identified as Sudheer, a resident of Balramapuram, was undergoing treatment at the neurosurgery department.
The Medical College Police said that the incident took place on Wednesday evening. The station house officer said the two resident doctors who were allegedly assaulted had submitted their complaint to their unit head, who in turn forwarded it to the police.
According to the police, the accused will be booked under the Kerala Healthcare Service Persons and Healthcare Service Institutions (Prevention of Violence and Damage to Property) Act.
