Director Raghu Haasan is currently busy shooting for the sequel of Nanu Mathu Gunda in Mysuru. The upcoming film focuses on a dog as the main character and features an interesting ensemble cast. While the director has kept the cast under wraps, it is learned that Rachna Inder, best known for her role in Love Mocktail, will play the female lead in the film.
Produced by Poem Pictures, the sequel features songs composed by RP Patnaik and background score by Ritwik Muralidhar. The film’s dialogues are penned by Rohit, Raman and Tanvik ji, while V Nagendra Prasad will handle the lyrics.
Rachna Inder, who recently joined the team, has already completed shooting for a few days. An official announcement regarding his participation and more details about the lead character will be out soon.

Raghu shared in an interview that the first half of the film showed the strong bond between the hero Shivraj KR Pete and the dog, Goon. The idea of making a sequel came while filming the last part of the film. The makers had a plan that if Part 1 did well at the box office, they would go ahead to make a sequel. Thankfully, the film was well received by the audience and performed admirably at the ticket counters, bringing their plans to fruition and confirming the decision to make a sequel.
