Gudha takes over as Minister of State for Sainik Welfare (Independent Charge), Home Guards and Civil Defence, Panchayati Raj and Rural Development
Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Friday sacked Rajendra Singh Gudha as Minister of State for questioning the Congress-led government over the recent incidents of crime against women in the state. Raj Bhavan said, Governor Kalraj Mishra has accepted Gehlot’s recommendation to sack Gudha with immediate effect.
This came hours after Congress leader Gudha criticized his own government over the recent incidents of crime against women in Rajasthan.
News agency Year “It is a fact and must be accepted that we have failed in women’s safety,” Gudha said in the assembly. “We should look within ourselves instead of Manipur that atrocities on women have increased in Rajasthan.”
