Reliance Jio reports 12% jump in first quarter profit – Times of India

Bengaluru: Reliance Jio Infocomm, the telecom arm of the Indian billionaire Mukesh AmbaniReliance Industries on Friday reported a 12.2% rise in first quarter profit as it added more customers.
Jio, India’s biggest telco by subscribers, said net profit rose to 48.63 billion rupees ($593.2 million) in April-June from 43.35 billion rupees a year earlier.
Its revenue from operations rose 9.9% to Rs 240.42 billion.
