His office said Prime Minister Narendra Modi will distribute over 70,000 appointment letters to newly recruited recruits on Saturday and address them through video conferencing.
The job fair will be organized at 44 locations across the country. In a statement, the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) said recruitments are taking place in central government departments as well as state governments and union territories supporting this initiative.
The PMO said that Prime Minister Modi will distribute over 70,000 appointment letters to newly recruited recruits through video conferencing on July 22 at 10:30 am.
He will also address these appointments on the occasion.
Recruits selected from across the country will join the government in various ministries and departments, including Department of Revenue, Department of Financial Services, Department of Posts, Department of School Education, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Defence. Health and Family Welfare, Central Public Sector Undertakings, Department of Water Resources, Department of Personnel and Training and Ministry of Home Affairs, among others.
The statement said that the employment fair is a step towards fulfilling the Prime Minister’s commitment to give top priority to employment generation.
It added that the job fair would act as a catalyst in further employment generation and provide meaningful opportunities to the youth for their empowerment and participation in national development.
Newly appointed recruits are also getting an opportunity to train themselves through Karmayogi Start, an online module on the iGOT Karmayogi portal, where over 580 e-learning modules are available for ‘anywhere any device’ learning format, the statement said. Learning courses are made available.
