Russia says NATO summit being “carefully monitored”

“There is no doubt that this is a coalition summit with a strong anti-Russian character.”

Moscow:

The Kremlin said Tuesday it is “carefully monitoring” the NATO summit in Vilnius, criticizing the “anti-Russian character” of the meeting where alliance members will discuss Ukraine’s membership ambitions.

“There is no doubt that this is a coalition summit with a strong anti-Russian character. Russia is seen as an enemy, a rival, and discussions will take place in that context,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters.
