The incidents of sacrilege are coming to the fore in Punjab every day. A case of sacrilege has also come to the fore in village Wadala Granthiyan under Batala of district Gurdaspur. Unknown accused set 3 books and photos of some Guru Sahibans on fire and threw them on the roadside. Fortunately, due to the strong wind, the fire was extinguished and the rescue was done. There is a lot of anger among the entire villagers due to the incident.

Giving information, villagers Karanbir Singh and Inderpal Singh Bains told that an attempt has been made to desecrate Gutka Sahib early in the morning on behalf of some unknown person. He said that this is a well-planned conspiracy by someone, who is getting people converted. He said that this is the third incident of sacrilege in Gurdaspur district in about a week, which is very worrying.

He demanded from the government and the administration that such culprits should be given the strictest punishment. Or 302 should be registered and hanged directly. So that such incidents can be curbed. On the other hand, the outpost in-charge of Chowki Wadala Granthian told that the investigation has been started by registering a case against the unknown person on behalf of the police.
