Samsung: Lucknow University’s first batch of ‘Samsung Innovation Campus’ students graduate, receive certificates from Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath – Times of India

SAMSUNG CSR Program of India Samsung Innovation Campus concluded artificial intelligenceInternet of Things, Big Data and Coding and Programming courses for the first batch of 383 students at Lucknow University. Total 775 students of Lucknow University Training will be given under Samsung Innovation Campus. Out of the first batch of 383 students, 110 have been trained in AI, 62 in IoT, 51 in Big Data and 160 in coding and programming. Completion certificates were awarded to the students by Yogi AdityanathChief Minister, Uttar Pradesh at the convocation ceremony held at Lok Bhavan in Lucknow.
Speaking on the occasion, Yogi Adityanath said, “Skill development of the youth is a major priority of the Uttar Pradesh government. We welcome this initiative of Samsung which will provide employable future tech skills to our students. Samsung has been a strong partner of Uttar Pradesh for many years and this program will further strengthen our bond.
“Samsung has been in India for over 27 years and Uttar Pradesh has been the center of manufacturing and research-based initiatives for Samsung throughout this time. We are committed partners in the growth story of India and Uttar Pradesh. Through the Samsung Innovation Campus, we aim to train the youth of Uttar Pradesh in the technological domains of the future and contribute to the further development of the state as well as strengthen our vision of Powering Digital India,” said JB Park, said President and CEO, Samsung Southwest Asia. ,
“We want to expand the program to more students and more universities in UP,” he added.
The Samsung Innovation Campus aims to skill youth aged 18-25 in future technologies and enhance their employability. These are key technical skills for the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
Electronics Sector Skills Council of India (ESSCI), a National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) approved entity, is implementing the program through its nationwide network of approved training and education partners.
