Shilpa Shetty has shared a funny video to react to the rising prices of tomatoes.

The rising prices of tomatoes have been a topic of discussion for a long time. Many celebrities including Suniel Shetty and Urfi Javed have also reacted to the skyrocketing prices of tomatoes. Now Shilpa Shetty has also joined them.

On Thursday, Shilpa Shetty posted a funny video on her Twitter handle, in which she was seen buying tomatoes. However, the actress added the dialogue, “How dare you? Beware tried to touch me. By what right did you touch me? The video mein tumhara koi haq nahi hai mujhpe” and made everyone laugh out loud. In the caption, Shilpa referred to her 2000 film and wrote, “Tomato prices are making my heart beat.” Watch it here:

Meanwhile, in a recent interview with India Today, Suniel Shetty also reacted to the rising tomato prices and said, “My wife brings only vegetables which are fresh and last only for a few days. We love to eat fresh vegetables. However, tomato prices have shot up recently, which is affecting people like us in the kitchen.

Earlier, Urfi Javed had also put up a series of pictures on her Instagram handle, in which she was seen wearing tomatoes in her ears. Not only this, in one photo the Bigg Boss OTT fame was also seen eating raw tomatoes. In the last two slides of his post, Urfi shared clippings of two news reports. While one of them mentioned how Suniel Shetty is eating fewer tomatoes due to rising prices, another claimed that a farmer in Maharashtra has become a millionaire by selling tomatoes. Let us tell you, the prices of tomatoes are skyrocketing across the country. Tomatoes are available at Rs 137 a kg in Mumbai. At the same time, tomatoes are being sold at Rs 140 per kg in Delhi.
