Karnataka election campaign is in its final round. In such a situation, Congress has fielded Sonia in the election campaign for the first time.

Former Congress president Sonia Gandhi will go on campaigning for the first time in four years. She will address a public meeting in Hubli, Karnataka on Saturday.

Sonia will hold a meeting in favor of Congress candidate and former CM Jagadish Shettar from Hubli-Dharwad. Shettar left BJP and joined Congress after not getting ticket. Here BJP has fielded Mahesh Tenginkai.

Sonia Gandhi did not campaign for the Congress in any election nor participated in any public rally for the party after the 2019 Lok Sabha elections due to health reasons. However, in October last year, she participated in Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra in Mandya, Karnataka.

Congress has held 43 rallies so far, 13 roadshows
The Congress has left no stone unturned in its Karnataka election campaign this time. Party president Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi and general secretary Priyanka Gandhi have so far held 43 rallies, 13 roadshows, six dialogues with women and youth as well as five meetings with workers. On Sunday, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi will hold a joint rally in Shivaji Nagar, Bengaluru.

This is a government coming by theft by giving money to MLAs: Rahul
Rahul Gandhi held three public meetings in Karnataka on 1 May. During this, he said that the Prime Minister comes to Karnataka, but only talks about himself. Rahul had given this comment on the statement of PM, in which Modi had talked about abusing himself in front of the public.

Rahul said- You did not elect this government, it is a government that comes by theft by giving money to MLAs. Every child of five-six years of age in Karnataka knows that this is a 40% government.

Priyanka said – PM does not make a list of public problems
Apart from Rahul, Priyanka also held a rally three days back. In which he had said that someone has made a list sitting in the Prime Minister’s office. That list is not of the problems of the public or the farmers. This list contains the information that who has abused Modi ji and how many times. Priyanka said that the abuses given to Modi ji are coming in one page. If I make a list of the abuses these people have given to my family, then I will get book after book printed.
