A dashcam video captured the terrifying moment the alleged gunman who killed eight people at a Texas mall on Saturday recklessly got out of his car and opened fire on shoppers.

The clip shows a gray vehicle pulling up near the entrance of Allen Premium Outlets. A man dressed in black gets out of the car with a gun and immediately starts shooting at people outside the shops from behind the car door. In the video, gunshots can be heard before a black pickup truck tries to speed off in the opposite direction in order to get away from the shooter’s car.
