Ludhiana: Crack down on encroachers Municipal council (MC) launched anti-encroachment campaign on service road Salem Tabri area on Wednesday.
Tehbazari wing staff of all the four MC zones carried out the drive and removed more than 24 encroachments from the service road.
Zonal Commissioner Neeraj Jain and Secretary Tajinderpal Singh Panchi said that regular anti-encroachment drives are being conducted in the city to streamline traffic movement.
The civic officials appealed to the shopkeepers and vendors not to encroach on the roads.
