Prayagraj: Siddharth Singh (22), son of head constable Devendra Singh, who is posted at Phulpur Kotwali in Prayagraj, has cracked the UPSC-2022 exam in his first attempt to secure 432nd all-India rank and may soon don the uniform of an IPS officer. . Siddhartha is not alone. Sandhya Singh, daughter of Krishna Kumar Singh of Tendua Kala village of Meja block, has passed IAS in the first attempt.
Sandhya is currently under training as a Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM). He and his brother Vivek were among the top 20 rank holders of UP-PCS 2022.
The special thing is that Siddharth is just a graduate and he has cleared the exam in his first attempt and secured 432nd rank. Though Siddharth originally hails from Rae Bareli district, he completed his schooling from Khel Gaon Public School, Jhalwa, Prayagraj.
“I was told that the result of UPSC-2022 exam would be declared any day before May 25, and since Siddharth has performed well, we were sure that he would give some good news. I was actually sleeping in the room when my younger daughter Samiksha called me and gave the good news,” recalls a jubilant Singh while speaking to TOI on Wednesday.

Equally impressive was the achievement of Sonali Mishra, who is currently posted as Assistant Traffic Manager at the headquarters of North Central Railway at Subedarganj.
