This new information came to light after interrogation of the arrested snake charmer who used his snake to get her husband killed by snake charmers, who has been identified as Ankit Chauhan.
Days after a woman killed her lover using a cobra snake in Uttarakhand’s Haldwani, it has been learned that she – who is the main accused – was inspired by watching the show ‘Crime Patrol’.
The police also revealed that the woman named Mahi Arya had been planning the murder for two months after watching the crime show.
This new information came to light after questioning the arrested snake charmer, who used his snake to catch the man, identified as Ankit Chauhan, who was killed by the reptile.
This happens because suspicion arose over the death of a Chauhan when his body was found inside a car with snake bite marks.
There have been at least five accused A case has been registered in connection with the matter.
A snake charmer has been arrested in the case. Police claim that businessman Chauhan’s girlfriend Arya, with the help of her friends, hired a snake charmer to get her partner killed.
Besides Arya, the authorities are also on the lookout for one of his friends and two domestic helps who were allegedly involved in the conspiracies.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Nainital Pankaj Bhatt said that the 30-year-old man was found dead inside his car parked on the roadside near Teenpani area with the ignition on. Hindustan Times.
Police reportedly scanned Chauhan’s call details and found that he was in touch with his girlfriend, who was in touch with a snake charmer in Uttar Pradesh.
“During interrogation, the snake charmer revealed that the woman, her friend Deep Kanpal and two of her accomplices conspired to kill Chauhan by releasing a cobra at him,” the senior officer said.
The snake charmer also told the police that the man used to misbehave with the woman in an inebriated state, due to which she took the extreme step and that she wanted to kill the man.
Based on the complaint, a First Information Report was registered against five accused under section 302 (murder) of the Indian Penal Code at Haldwani police station.
