Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) activists vandalized the Vice-Chancellor’s chamber at Deendayal Upadhyaya University (DDU) in Gorakhpur on Friday evening. Uprooted the door and threw it. First know why there was ruckus
ABVP workers were protesting against the irregularities in the university. According to the students, no problem was resolved even after the Vice Chancellor’s assurance. After this, Dean Dr. Satyapal Singh issued an order for the suspension of 4 activists who created ruckus and to bar 4 activists from entering the university.
In protest against this order, when the students reached to meet the Vice Chancellor on Friday, he refused to talk. The workers got angry on this.
The workers clashed with the policemen when they intervened. The workers also thrashed him.

ABVP workers kept waiting for Vice Chancellor Professor Rajesh Singh at the university gate. But they did not come out till 3 o’clock. After this, the angry workers reached the Vice Chancellor’s chamber. During this, the police were taking out the Vice Chancellor under their protection, when the activists attacked.
