The user who shared the video said that he was feeling uncomfortable seeing the couple.
The Delhi Metro has once again made headlines, and not for the right reasons. A Twitter user has shared a video of a couple traveling in the Delhi Metro to suggest that he was uncomfortable with displays of affection in public. Tagging Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) and DCP Delhi Metro in his tweet, this user wrote, “I am feeling very strange. Please help.”
In the video, a young man can be seen sitting hand in hand with a girl. As per the video, the couple was not indulging in any obscene activity and were simply sitting together. The clip has been viewed over 720,000 times on the microblogging site.
Twitter users have called out the person concerned for filming the young couple without their consent.
One user wrote, ‘It should be a criminal offense to make videos of strangers without their consent.’

Many have also said that there was nothing in the video that would make anyone feel awkward or uncomfortable.

Recently another video of a young couple traveling in the Delhi Metro went viral. The clip was of a couple kissing each other while sitting on the floor of a metro coach.
The video had gone viral and opinion was divided on social media. In this case, public opinion was largely against the couple. Protests over the video resulted in the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation appealing to its commuters to “refrain from indulging in such obscene activities”.
In its statement, the DMRC also said that it expects its passengers to behave responsibly while traveling on the Delhi Metro.
Last month, a video took the internet by storm which showed a young girl dancing to a Punjabi song inside a metro. Actually, this girl had also shared the video on her Instagram handle.
It may be noted that video filming is not allowed inside Delhi Metro coaches. This video also got mixed reactions. Some people praised his dance and some suggested that DMRC should impose fine on those who violate the rules.
