Vivek Agnihotri Recently came out in support of the writers’ strike in Hollywood, Protests have been going on in America for more than a week.
Sharing some pictures of the protest, the filmmaker wrote, ‘Writers are on strike in Hollywood. Have you ever seen any film producer or any star? Bollywood sometimes even mention them AuthorName of? Do you also know who is the writer of some of the biggest hits like Pathan or Bhool Bhulaiyaa? This is the sad story of Bollywood. But real.

Responding to the post, Gulshan Devaiah replied, ‘Dear good sir, don’t remember you touring with your writers or your excellent research team while promoting for your release. Start the change from home and then the society will follow. I certainly don’t hate him but I am an idiot.. always have been one (sic).’

A user wrote on Twitter, ‘Who is the writer of your films?’ One tweet read, “Writers are the lowest paid talent in the industry! And the most taken for granted.” A fan also commented, ‘I agree with you. Writers are the backbone of any film industry and they Deserves more recognition and respect.Bollywood should learn from Hollywood and give more importance to its writers.’
