Meta-owned instant messaging platform WhatsApp has started rolling out a revamped interface for iOS users. As reported by WaBetaInfo – online website that tracks new and upcoming features WhatsAppiOS users can now see a translucent tab bar and navigation bar.
Accordingly, WhatsApp for iOS 23.13.80 has been marked as a compatible update. Although the news regarding the interface is not mentioned in the official changelog of the App Store, the report confirms that it is widely available to users on the stable release.
To check whether the translucent bar feature is available for you or not, simply update your WhatsApp app iphone From App Store. You may need to restart the app for the changes to activate. You have to open any section of the app to see if the translucency effect is available.
The report further states that the redesigned interface may not be available to all users at once. It could be rolling out gradually and many users will receive it in the coming weeks.
In other news, WhatsApp is getting a new, redesigned sticker and GIF picker. As per the report, the latest feature introduces the ability to scroll the picker upwards, allowing users to easily access a large grid of items. With the new update, the buttons to access GIFs, stickers and avatars section have also been shifted. There are also redesigned tabs to ensure clear navigation. In addition, WhatsApp has improved the assortment of avatar packs and offers users a larger set of avatar stickers. WaBetaInfo reports that with the expanded picker view, users can experiment with GIFs and stickers with a better search experience.
