World’s largest spelling test set for Paris’s Champs-Élysées – Times of India

Paris: The Champs-Elysees in Paris will hold the world’s largest spelling test Next month, organizers said on Wednesday.
A huge classroom including school desks will be set up in 6,600 square meters (71,000 sq ft) of the famous avenue. Victory Monument in the capital of France.
Contestants participating in the “World’s Largest Dictation” on June 4 must write the correct passage French lessons read by the organizers.
Dictation is a mainstay of French education, celebrated by teachers as a pillar of establishing correct grammar and dreaded by schoolchildren who are forced to perform them on an almost daily basis.
All keen spellers aged 10 and over can sign up on the City of Paris website, and around 1,700 will be chosen at random to participate.
