1. The wrestler obeyed at the behest of Tikait; United World Wrestling said to suspend WFI
The pictures are of Har Ki Pauri Ghat in Haridwar. Wrestlers had reached here on the pretext of medals.
Wrestlers have given a 5-day ultimatum to the central government to take action against former Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) president Brij Bhushan Singh. Earlier, the wrestlers had reached Haridwar on the pretext of their medals in the Ganges. But stopped at the behest of Naresh Tikait, president of the Bharatiya Kisan Union.
On the other hand, United World Wrestling (UWW), an organization that oversees wrestling worldwide, has appealed for a fair investigation into the allegations against Brij Bhushan Singh. The UWW has also said that if elections are not held within 45 days, the WFI will be suspended.

3. Manipur violence: 11 players including Chanu said – will return the medal if peace is not restored
Home Minister Amit Shah held a meeting with police and army officers in the capital Imphal. People of the Kuki community took out a rally to restore peace in the state.
Eleven players from Manipur, including Olympic medalist Mirabai Chanu, have written a letter to Home Minister Amit Shah. They say that if the situation in the state does not become normal, they will return their awards and medals. So far 80 people have died in the ongoing violence since May 3.
Home Minister Amit Shah also held an all-party meeting at the Chief Minister’s residence and also met Kuki and Meitei people. Shah said that peace and prosperity of the state is the top most priority. Also directed the officers to strictly deal with any activity that disturbs the peace.

4. Delhi Murder: Sahil bought knife 15 days ago, murdered after planning
Sahil, who killed a 16-year-old minor in Delhi, has confessed his crime in front of the police. He told that he had bought a knife from the local market 15 days before the murder. Sahil has no remorse for his actions. The court has sent him on police remand for 2 days.
Sahil told the police that the sudden breakup triggered his anger. He committed the murder after planning. Sahil switched off his mobile after the murder. He was arrested by the police from Bulandshahr, but Sahil had changed 2 buses to reach Bulandshahr.

5. 26/11 terrorist died in jail, was serving sentence in terror funding case
The picture is of terrorist Abdul Salam Bhuttawi. He was sentenced to 16 and a half years in 2020.
Abdul Salam Bhuttawi, who was involved in the planning of the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks, died of a heart attack in a Pakistani jail. He was serving a sentence in a terror funding case in a jail in Punjab province. Indian intelligence agencies have also confirmed Bhuttawi’s death.
In 2011, the US Treasury Department also imposed sanctions on Bhuttawi on charges of raising funds for terrorist attacks and recruiting terrorists. In the year 2011, Bhuttawi himself confessed to working for the terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba for 20 years.

Thieves came in a luxury car, took away 10 goats
A case of stealing goats from a luxury car has come to light in Bihar’s Purnia. Thieves stole 10 goats from a village. They picked up the goats one by one and started loading them into Scorpio’s car.
