Ghaggar broken in Bhallanwada area before Sardulgarh in Mansa.

Due to a new breach in Ghagghar on Wednesday night, some other villages of Malwa have also come under the grip of flood. According to the information received, at around 11 o’clock in the night before Sardulgarh in Malwa, there was a crack in Ghagghar in Bhallanwada area. The breach came close to the government school in Bhallanwada, after which water started gushing rapidly into the surrounding villages.

Yellow alert around Beas river
The water level of Beas river has also started increasing in Punjab. The administration of Gurdaspur, Amritsar and Tartanaran districts has issued a yellow alert in the areas around Beas. People in low-lying places have been asked to move to safer places. At present, around 70 thousand cusecs of water is flowing in Beas, which has touched the yellow alert. Camps have been set up by the district administration in schools in the surrounding areas and people from low-lying areas have been asked to stay there.
