PTI quoted a senior police officer as saying that the body was taken to JPC Hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.
His mobile phone was also found missing from the spot.
The boy’s mother told the police that her son was recently released from a reformation home after four months in connection with a theft case registered at Ghaziabad’s Loni police station.
He said that he had left home on Tuesday night around 10 pm to meet his friends.
Police said a case of murder has been registered and efforts are on to identify the suspects with the help of CCTV cameras.
