Batting first after losing the toss, Lucknow scored 154 runs losing seven wickets in 20 overs. Kyle Meyers played an inning of 51 runs in 42 balls. Apart from this, captain KL Rahul scored 39 runs.
In response, at one time Rajasthan’s team had scored 87 runs after losing one wicket. However, after this wickets kept falling at regular intervals and the team could manage only 144 runs in 20 overs losing six wickets. Yashasvi Jaiswal scored the highest 44 runs. In the last seven matches in Jaipur, the team batting later has won six matches. Lucknow won the match batting first for the first time.
Avesh Khan took two wickets in the last over. He took the wicket of Devdutt Padikkal on the third ball of the over and Dhruv Jurel on the fourth ball. Earlier, he also took the wicket of Shimron Hetmyer. Avesh took three wickets in total. However, the Player of the Match award was given to Marcus Stoinis. He took two wickets and scored 21 runs.
