Gurgaon: Two men fired indiscriminately outside a liquor shop in Manesar on Friday night, killing a customer standing near the counter and injuring two others.
CCTV footage, widely circulated on social media, showed two men dressed in white T-shirts and blue denims firing in the air outside Discovery wine shop in Pachgaon. Before pulling out the gun, one of them reportedly has an altercation with the vendor.

The police began the investigation after Kuldeep, one of the two owners of the liquor shop, filed a complaint about a week ago alleging threat calls from unknown numbers.
“They were foreign numbers. The callers used to ask me to surrender the license of the liquor shop or face the consequences. My brother also received similar calls. We ignored the matter initially, thinking that someone was with us. Joking, ”he told the police.
Kuldeep was sitting in his office behind the liquor shop when he heard about 13-14 gunshots.
“I ran outside to see what had happened. I saw two men pointing guns at customers and passers-by. As they fled on bikes I went to the counter and saw a man lying face down and Bleeding. There were two other people who had bullet injuries. We informed the police and took them to the hospital. But one of them was declared dead on arrival,” he said.
Following Kuldeep’s complaint, an FIR was registered under IPC sections 120B (criminal conspiracy), 302 (murder), 307 (attempt to murder), 34 (common intention) and 506 (criminal intimidation) and relevant provisions of the Arms Act Went. Registered in Manesar police station.
Police teams have been formed to search for the accused. “We are scanning the CCTV footage from cameras installed around the liquor shop. Teams have been formed and a reward of Rs 50,000 has been announced for anyone giving information about the attackers. We hope to arrest them soon,” said Surendra Singh, ACP (Manesar).
The relatives of the victims have been informed. “There is a possibility that both the shooters may have gang affiliation. So far we have come to know that the aim was to create an atmosphere of terror by firing only in the air. The bullets hit three people standing outside the counter, one of whom died. The two accused fled on a bike which was being driven by a third person,” said Singh.
